Good but not great

I am a huge fan of the series. This version stays pretty true to the original but needs a few fixes.
1. It is difficult to see how many troops you have in a city. You have to select a troop that is showing and arrow through them. Not very efficient.
2. Customizing your work force is a challenge. Although it is set up to look like the original it does not function the same. The effect of changes is not obvious.
3. The AI is not challenging. On the Console version playing on Emperor or Deity was a considerable challenge in war and diplomacy. Not so with this version. Your enemy may attack a few times but will back off if they do not win. Diplomacy is almost non-existent.
