Civilization Revolution 2 App Reviews

I remember playing this on the Nintendo d.s. years ago, and it was brilliant! However, updates are desperately needed now, in fields such as the following. Please make it take up less space, make it easier to control, make it easier to see all of your units in a turn, so you dont forget about them (as in the d.s. version), and other updates, which other reviewers have recommended. Please update! This was a very expensive game, and I am now regretting my purchase!

It crashes so much its not playable. Gameplay is clunky. Do not buy this, your $10 is best spent elsewhere.

This is an outstanding game! I just wish the games could be a bit longer. Best for your money this is the only game I have on my phone looks great on the 6S+.. Domination!!!!

Needs bigger maps and more available countries in a single game

Please fix the AI. They dont even establish contact with each other, which makes for limited strategy. This game could be endlessly replayable, but the AI is too easy, even on deity.

I cant find a way to get iefel tower and also long moves are slow with out smooth movement and cant find if you can work out war deals and peace treaties like on computer and you know just maybe a few little updates

Lots of fun, great depth, and no in-app purchase nonsense -- just the way an app should be. Also, it looks FANTASTIC on an iPad.

The game is really fun and addicting and also it is well done. Really good game

The downside? Mobile is the worst possible platform for this game. That said, 2K really pull out all of the stops to make this game THE most well-crafted mobile game Ive yet seen.

Just spent $10 on the game and cant get past the science adviser. What a waste of money.

I really like playing the game, but you have to make sure that you save before switching to another app for an extended period of time, otherwise you will lose all your progress because the game data does not get persisted consistently when apps get tombstones.

There are so many flaws within the interface, it is ridiculous. Do not put any troops to sleep; you will effectively lose them forever. The game refuses to allow you to waken them. There are many other serious flaws in the interface and gameplay. I would love to return it for my money back.

I recently bought this app.... although it has a hefty price tag it is worth it. I loved Civ5 and Civ Rev on Xbox360 and this was just as good for a portable game! Korea is an amazing civ, and all the new wonders are good, Along with the units. They added Stealth bombers, aircraft carriers and more! Also they added new technologies which is just a cherry on top! If you have the money I would definitely recommend this app!

Generally a good adaptation of the original game. A good strategic challenge as you move up through the levels forcing more balance and planning in order to win. However the piece controls are a bit challenging. Should be able to rotate the map or city markers should not hinder moving pieces and the way it cycles through active units is maddening.

2k, if you add multiplayer it could convince more people to buy the game. I think this is a very well made game, but multiplayer would attract others

Great strategy game. Addictive but not too time consuming. Hope you can make game more difficult because I have mastered this one!

Basically the same as Civ 1 but I find the controls more difficult.

One of my favorite ways to spend a long plane ride or sleepy Sunday.
